Newest Addition to the nursery lineup!

This is part of an order I'm finishing up for a customer but it turned out really cute so I had to post a picture or two! This is an original design diaper stacker. Made with Air Force ABU fabric and navy piping, I stitched the AF Wings logo into the top panel because I thought it needed a little "somethin'". I am pretty pleased with the overall look. Now that I have a machine that gives me a little more flexibility in design I will probably modify this slightly before drafting up a pattern but nothing too noticeably different. These will be available for all 4 branches.

Behind on orders...Family comes first

I just wanted to take a moment to let you all know that I am currently about 2 weeks behind on orders. I had the flu for about a week which meant I didn't touch my machine (I didn't feel the need to send my flu virus home to my customers on their fabrics) and we are dealing with the unexpected diagnosis of my father-in-law's illness which brought my husband and 2 of my brother-in-law's home from their deployments early to be with their dad. We are on a day-by-day basis right now, and it is only a matter of time before his body completely shuts down so we are trying to come to terms with this all at once. This came completely out of the blue so we have all been shocked to see him go from being fine to nearly totally incapacitated within just 2 weeks time.

I will resume shipping orders within the next 2 weeks but wanted to update everyone on what has been going on around here. While I'm thrilled to have my husband back home early, I wish it was under different circumstances.

Thank you all for your kind words, emails, prayers, and help during this time. We appreciate it more than you can possibly know. God is good, though, and while we don't know his plan, we know it is all in His hands.

Finally, I have a "design"

Cori at Scrap-e-blogs did a fabulous job taking my blog to a whole new level. I'm still working on the last few tweeks but doesn't it look amazing?! Please feel free to grab my button and link. If you notice anything odd or not working right please let me know so I can get it fixed ASAP.

Cori also did a makeover for our family blog (which I have been horrible about updating). Check it out here

She has tons of free templates and stuff on her blog, and she's quick and affordable for custom work. For more of her talent, go check her out on her own site

Thank you Cori!

Military

Being a military wife, I wanted a special nursery for my son when he was born, and I just couldn't find what I wanted anywhere, so I decided to design my own. More pictures to come soon, but here are a few pictures of what I can make. All orders are custom made to order, and since I don't use a pattern for my items I can make them exactly to fit your specific needs or requests. I have all four branches available:
Navy Digital Blue Camo

Marine Woodland MARPAT

Marine Desert MARPAT

Air Force ACU

Army ACU

I can mix these with any color/fabric you like.

Semper Fi!

I thought I would NEVER get this one done, but I finally managed to deliver it on Christmas Eve. Finding stuff that matches Marine Corps fabric really isn't easy. Sorry for the poor picture quality but I was down to just my camera phone since hubby took the good camera with him on his deployment.

Three little purses for three little girls

A co-worker of mine was looking for something unique for her neices for Christmas, so she had me make them each a purse. I took her shopping for fabrics, and we found something for each little girl that seemed to fit their personality and I went to work. The first was for an 11 yr old, the second for a 6 yr old, and the last for a 2 1/2 yr old who wants to be a big girl like her sisters. Here is the result:
